Who is Riz

A 25 year old Hip Hop Artist out of the Bay Area,
and I've been really pushing myself to be the best
artist there is in Northern California. I've been
performing at various venues that are not accustomed
to hip hop performers, and have successfully been
transforming the perception that many people have
about rap. I'm really trying to do something
different, while still doing what everyone else is

MISSION STATEMENT

I really think that if you want to be successful in
this industry the key is certainly perseverance. Real
talent and realdrive and real ambition always shine
through. In many instances, you see a lot of very
competent people...but that spark of brilliance, that
extra amount of energy and ambition and drive and
willingness to do whatever it takes is missing. I am
really a dedicated and devoted emcee who just wants to
win and make a name for myself in this business. The
long and short of that point is that I think anybody
who really has the sincere desire to make this their
life's career and has the ambition, and is willing to
do anything, is really going to shine through in the
end. And eventually you're probably going to hit that
one connection that can take you to the next level.

Joshua Jay Thomas (born December 21, 1984), better known by his stage name Cassanova, is an American rapper/songwriter believed by his peers to be the new face of hip hop music. Originally from Vallejo/American Canyon, California, Cassanova is well on his way to making his mark in the entertainment industry. At the early age of 12, Cassanova wrote his first verse and began to further his interest in hip hop music. With such influences as Wu-Tang, Tribe Called Quest, Black sheep, Jay-Z, Rakim, Rappin 4 tay, and E-40 to name a few, he has developed the ability to write lyrics without using pen and paper.

In 2006, he moved from his hometown of A.C. to the city of San Diego in pursuit of a successful career in music and entertainment and is currently recording his debut self titled album "Contradiction". With his unique style and raw talent, Cassanova strives to deliver a classic yet new school sound to the hip hop community, and a fresh new appeal to the world of music and entertainment. This year alone Cassanova has catalogued over 100 Hip Hop and R&B songs and has worked with such companies as, Arctic Wolf Entertainment, Swoll productions, and Bo'digm Music.

Not only thriving record sales and increasing the number of listeners of Hip Hop music, Cassanova is also breaking into the film and fashion industry, collaborating with up and coming designers and production companies like Thousandaire Clothing and One Family Productions. Though currently unsigned, Cassanova has generated great commercial interest and a rapidly growing fan base underground as well as significant buzz online and overseas.
